William Beaudry Farrell, formerly of Cortland, N.Y. and Raleigh, N.C. passed away peacefully at his apartment in Peachtree City, Ga. on March 17, 2017.
He was born Dec 5, 1925 in Cortland, N.Y. to the late Frank and May Beaudry Farrell. William and Marie Braun were married June 16, 1951 in Cortland N.Y. They moved to Corning N.Y. where they started their family and were later transferred them to Raleigh in 1963 where he eventually retired from Corning, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marie C Braun Farrell and brother Frank Farrell, and sisters Helen Sheridan and Mary Jane Farrell.
William is survived by children, Cathryn A Farrell of Berkeley, Calif., Richard (Martha) Farrell of Peachtree City, Ga., Susan (Michael) Sanaga of Brentwood, N.Y., grandchildren Patrick (Erica), Robert, and Douglas Farrell, Caitlin (Tyler) Wright and Timothy Sanaga and many nieces & nephews.
A funeral mass will be held Thursday March 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City, Ga. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to The American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Parkway, Suite 1, Marietta, Ga. 30067. Interment will be at a later date at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Raleigh.
