Mrs. Evelyn A. Bost, 78, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, March 02, 2017 at her residence following an extended illness.
A native of Calhoun Falls, S.C., Evelyn was born on October 25, 1938, the daughter of the late Seaborn and Frances Maybelle Finley. Evelyn was retired from Estex Manufacturing Company in Fairburn as an administrative executive.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Mr. Harold C. Bost, Sr.; daughter, Marilyn Hall and her husband, Patrick; sons, Doug (Debbie) Buckner and Rob (Christina) Buckner; step-sons, Cliff Bost and Rick (Camie) Bost; brothers, Clemeth and Harold Finley; sister, Aundria Evans; twelve grandchildren, Lauren, Megan, Patrick, Alise, Ayla, Dallas, Lyric, Cole, Mark, Clay, Cody, and Jacob; three great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Paisley and Henry; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Fayetteville, with Rev. Bill Evans officiating. Evelyn will lie in state beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. The family will receive friends on Sunday and Monday evenings from 5 – 8 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
The following gentlemen will serve as active pallbearers and are requested to meet at the church on Tuesday morning at 10:40 a.m.: Doug & Rob Buckner, Cliff & Rick Bost, Patrick Hall, Mark Bost, Cole Buckner and Toby Hunter.
