Edward Allen Lawson, 75, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Delta Air Lines after 34 years.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Bruce Landon Lawson, Robert Lee Lawson, James Walker Lawson and Steven Lawson.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kay Lawson; his daughter, Marian Kay Lawson; his brothers, Barry Wilson Lawson (Phyllis) and Roland Bernard Lawson (Dixie); and his sister, Kay Frances Lauth.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Pastor Danny Wilson officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Lisbon Baptist Church Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ga. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service.
