Who knew a closed school makes a great in-line skate rink? Two Peachtree City men were charged with burglary after entering McIntosh High School for early morning skating.
Zachary D. Archbold and Nicholas N. Morin, both 18, were charged with burglary, according to Peachtree City Police Department spokesperson Odilia Bergh.
Bergh said the incident occurred on Dec. 10, though the arrests came on Jan. 3 after the school resource officer had reviewed the school’s security video.
Bergh said officers at the time of the incident responded to an alarm call at approximately 4:30 a.m. but could not locate a point of entry into the school.
Archbold and Morin had entered the school and spent time in-line skating in the gym.
The pair told officers they wanted to take a T-shirt from the graphics room but could not gain access to the area, Bergh said.
