Minter’s Farm in Fayetteville donated the 11-foot Blue Ice tree to be used to raise funds for veterans. So far $600 has been raised in ornament purchases. Each ornament honors a specific veteran. Proceeds go to purchase crosses and medals for veterans for military service award programs. You may purchase an ornament to honor any veteran for $10 up until Christmas Day by contacting Melissa Meyhoefer at 678-953-0238. The tree is located at The American Legion Log Cabin, Post 105, 180 S. Glynn Street, Fayetteville, Ga., and is decorated in patriotic red, white and blue. Photo/Submitted.
