Baby Basics, open to expectant mothers and their spouses or partners, provides information and guidance related to the care of the newborn. Topics discussed include bathing, diapering, burping, feeding, calming techniques for a fussy baby, car safety seats, immunizations, circumcisions, signs of illness and when to call the pediatrician.
The class is led by Jan Mannion in the Cancer Wellness Activity Room at Piedmont Fayette Hospital, third floor. The next class will take place Saturday, Jan. 14, 1-3 p.m. Cost is $10.
