A Dec. 4 armed robbery occurred outside a residence at the Kendwood Landing Mobile Home Park on Milam Road in north Fayette County. There were no injuries in the incident.
Sheriff Barry Babb said the two victims were standing in a driveway on Malibu Drive when they noticed a white Dodge Charger circling back and forth in front of the residence, said Babb.
A short time later a black male in his 30s and wearing a black jacket and an orange cap approached the two victims on foot. He produced a silver semi-automatic handgun and demanded their wallets and cell phones, Babb said.
The victims complied, handing over one cell phone and both wallets, said Babb.
The man fled on foot and entered the waiting Charger. The vehicle turned left onto Milam Road, Babb said.
The weapon was not fired and there were no injuries, said Babb.
