‘Blue Christmas’ service planned
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will offer a Blue Christmas service on Monday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m. The service invites especially those who will find Christmas bittersweet because they have experienced a loss. Words and prayers of hope will be offered, and Holy Communion will be celebrated. The COS Flute Choir will provide music.

Community chorale set for Dec. 5
Six area church choirs will provide a free, open air CommUnity Christmas Chorale on Dec. 5, at 7 p.m., at the Christmas tree on the fountain on the square in front of the Fayette County Government Complex. Some seating will be provided.

Woolsey’s 5K kicks off early Dec. 10
The sixth annual 5K for Missions at Woolsey Baptist Church will be Saturday, Dec. 10, with registration at 7:30 a.m. The 1K (kid’s run) will be at 8:30 a.m., followed with the 5K at 9 a.m. Register online at:  http://www.woolsey5k.eventbrite.com/ or register with forms at  http://www.woolseybaptist.org/.
