Thomas Daniel Williams, 71, of Fayetteville, Ga. formerly of East Point, Ga., passed away on October 29, 2016 from Pancreatic cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie Edwards Williams, also formerly of East Point, daughter Robin Williams (Chris) Armes, granddaughter Maggie Armes, of Beaufort, S.C., son Tim Williams of Atlanta, brother Robert Williams of Douglasville, Ga.
Tom served two years in the US Army with 10 months being served in Viet Nam during the TET offensive in January 1968. He retired from Delta Air Lines in 2000 after 36 years of service.
Tom was an avid golfer and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was instantly liked by all who ever met this gentle, Christian man. He and Marie attended Southside Church in Peachtree City, Ga.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, November 6, at 3 p.m. at Southside Church, 777 Robinson Road, Peachtree City, Ga.
