Anne Jordan Kuykendall 84, of Peachtree City, passed away on October 27, 2016.
She was born in Atlanta, Ga., on November 12, 1931 to Lon and Nita Jordan. Anne attended West Fulton High School and South Georgia College. She married Almond Jerome (Jack) Kuykendall on November 26, 1952. Anne was a member of the Peachtree Christian Church, the Elks Auxiliary and Fayette Society of Fine Arts. Anne won several honors over the years in her artist league’s Art Shows. She enjoyed annual family trips to Destin Fla. and UGA football games with her husband Jack.
Anne is survived by her husband of 64 years Jack Kuykendall; son, Randy and Pam Kuykendall; daughter, SuAnne and Craig Evans; grandchildren, Danielle Kuykendall, Claire Kuykendall, Scott Evans and Shelly Evans.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Lon and Nita Jordan, and brother Dan Jordan.
A funeral service took place on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City with Pastor George Dillard officiating. Burial was held on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. The family received family and friends on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 12 -1 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Christian City www.christiancity.org or to the Elkís Lodge # 1617 in Union City www.elks.org/lodges 1617.
