Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City will offer GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays to the community on Wednesday, Nov. 16, or Friday, Nov. 18. Participation in previous GriefShare sessions is not required to attend. There is no cost for the program.
The seminar features practical suggestions and reassurance through video interviews with clergy, counselors, grief experts, and other people who have experienced the holidays after their loved one’s death. Topics to be discussed include dealing with hard-hitting emotions, what to do about family traditions, how to survive social events and where to find comfort and strength.
The Nov. 16 session will be from 7 – 9 p.m.; the Nov. 18 session will be from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. The meetings will be in Room 102 of the Faith Formation Building.
