Joseph G. Pitts, 51, of Peachtree City passed away on October 17, 2016.
Joseph was an avid golfer. He enjoyed cruising around in his 1999 Chevrolet Corvette. Joseph was a mechanic for Delta Airlines for over 27 years, helping to get customers to their destinations.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Shelly Pitts; son, Ryan Pitts; daughter, Kristen Pitts; sister, Mary (Steve) Sparks; father, Anthony Pitts; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Clara Pitts.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City, from 6-8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 12 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 4600 Preserve Pkwy, Hoover, Ala. 35226. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 600 Martin Luther Jr. Drive, Birmingham, Ala. The family will receive friends at 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
