The Commemorative Air Force Dixie Wing and Atlanta Regional Airport (Falcon Field) in Peachtree City have postponed the Nov. 5 “Keep ‘em Flying” 10k/5k run and one-mile fun run-walk until next spring.

The new date is April 22, 2017.

The first “Hops & Props” Georgia Beer Fest, scheduled for Nov. 5 at 5 p.m., will continue as planned.

The Dixie Wing, based in Peachtree City, was approved as the 83rd CAF unit Feb.28, 1987, and has since displayed its collection of vintage World War II aircraft in numerous air shows throughout the United States. The wing is a nonprofit, tax-exempt “flying museum” that relies on contributions of time and funds to carry out its mission. For more information about the CAF Dixie Wing visit www.dixiewing.org.
