Mr. Clyde James Lofstad, Jr., of Peachtree City, Ga. passed away September 27, 2016 at the age of 69.
Clyde grew up in St. Paul, Minn. graduating from Concordia Academy High School and The University of Minnesota. He was a construction engineer and retired from Home Depot in 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Butler Lofstad; sons, Drew Jason Lofstad; Slade Dean (Leslie) Lofstad; daughter, Freedom Lofstad (Jason) Merritt; step-daughter, Christi Dyer; 7 grandchildren; and his brother, Duane (Judy) Lofstad of St. Paul, Minn.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2016 in the chapel of Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, 135 Senoia Road, Peachtree City, Ga. 30269. A Celebration of Life to follow at the home of Leslie and Slade Lofstad, 175 Maple Shade Drive, Tyrone, Ga. 30290.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. A web page has been established there for Mr. Lofstad.
