Peachtree City’s contractor is performing maintenance work on several of the timber bridges along Peachtree City’s path system during September and October. This work will require some bridge closures that will require detours.

The Lake Peachtree bridge will be closed Thursday and Friday as contractors complete the seal/stain project.

Also, work is ongoing along Tower Road, Wynnmeade Parkway, Fortress Drive, Alice Court, North Meade Drive and Beaver Dam Road for the WASA sewer line project in Wynnmeade. Some temporary road closures will be required. Final milling and resurfacing are underway, and the project should be completed by Tuesday, Oct. 18.

Motorists are reminded to drive with caution and obey traffic control when workers are present. For more information, visit www.pcwasa.org/announcements.

Senoia Road is to be closed through this week, although contractors are hoping to have that road and Kedron Drive North open to through traffic again by Monday, Oct. 17.  Until that time, drivers should continue to use Dogwood Trail or Crabapple Lane to access Highway 74 N.
