Margaret Baker Johnston, 94, of Fayetteville passed away on September 5, 2016.
She was born in Atlanta, Ga. to Agnes and Leonard Pierce Baker on May 9, 1922. She was an executive secretary with Coca-Cola USA and retired after 40 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Johnston, her parents and four siblings.
Margaret is survived by her son, Robert B. Johnston and his wife, Ann of Fayetteville; her daughter, Michelle Smith and her husband, “Chick” of Jonesboro; and her son, David B. Johnston of College Park; her two granddaughters, Kirsten Alday and her husband Jamie, and Lauren Baez and her husband Jose; her great-grandchildren, Jacob and Kylee Alday, and Natalia and Sofia Baez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Margaret’s service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, with Rev. Ervin Perry officiating. Interment will be immediately following the service at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday evening, September 16, 2016 at the funeral home.
