Final drive-in movie is Aug. 19
First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City will host its final Golf Cart Drive-In Movie for the community on Aug. 19.   The movie is family friendly and will begin at dusk on the lawn at 206 Willow Bend Rd. Flipper Chapel to celebrate anniversary
The Flipper Chapel A. M. E. Church will celebrate its  church anniversary on Aug.  21, at 2:30 p.m. The guest pastor and congregation will be the Rev. Raymond Bowers of the Greater Bethel A.M.E. Church Atlanta. The theme is “Celebrating Our Past and Focusing on the future.” Dinner will be served. The church is located at 175 Booker Ave. in Fayetteville. The Rev. Kimberly Lyons is the host pastor.

Holly Grove Homecoming, Revival planned
On Sunday Aug. 28, at 3 p.m., Holly Grove AME Church will host its Annual Homecoming Celebration. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Vandy C. Simmons. The  Annual Revival will be held Monday, Aug. 29, at 7 p.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. David Morrow. Holly Grove AME Church is located at 400 Holly Grove Church Rd., Peachtree City.

Holy Trinity offers Stephen Ministry
Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City offers Stephen Ministry to provide confidential, one-on-one Christian care to people who are going through a difficult time. Catholics as well as non Catholics are eligible to receive care. A Stephen Minister is a well-trained caregiver who listens, cares, prays, and encourages during a time of need.  Care is confidential and free.
