Peachtree City’s contractor is performing tunnel maintenance that requires several path tunnels to close temporarily, according to city officials.
Work will be performed at night, with setup at 8 p.m., tunnel closure at 9 p.m., and the tunnel reopening each morning at about 4 a.m.
The revised schedule is:
McDonald’s – Aug. 8-10.
Ardenlee – Aug. 11-12.
Georgian Parkway – Aug. 15-18.
Work is also underway during the day on many of the other tunnels in town, but the tunnels will not have to be closed.
Watch for flaggers and wait until they signal a tunnel is safe to enter when workers are present.
