This fall, McIntosh High School will officially induct its newest class into the Hall of Fame.
The Distinguished Alumni selection (which includes longtime faculty) is two-time STAR teacher Joan Houghton, who started teaching gifted English when MHS opened in 1981 and taught there until her retirement in 1997.
The athlete inductees are:
Individual state champion golfer Johan Kok (‘98).
Four-time team state champion Chiefette Nichole O’Brien Martin (‘02).
Two-time Georgia high school soccer player of the year Jessica Lenze Condon (‘05).
Georgia high school soccer player of the year Patrick Murray (‘05).
The 1995 state championship McIntosh cheerleading team will also be recognized.

The Hall of Fame weekend kicks off Friday, Oct, 21, with a pregame reception for the inductees, their families and members of the 1995 state championship cheerleading team.
During halftime of the Griffin-McIntosh football game, the inductees and cheerleading team members will be introduced on the field.
The banquet dinner and induction ceremony take place Saturday, Oct. 22, starting at 6 p.m. at The Loft at Due South in Peachtree City. Tickets to the dinner and ceremony are available for purchase at McIntosh HS for $30 each.
