Suzanne B. Stevens Scaggs, of Peachtree City, passed away July 22, 2016 at the age of 85.
She was born in Matewan, W.Va. to the late John and Elizabeth Stevens. She moved to Peachtree City with her late husband, Max H. Scaggs in 1983.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Max H. Scaggs.
She is survived by daughter Lynn Dolan and husband Tom of Peachtree City; grandchildren Suzanne Dolan and Tom Dolan, Jr; sister Lucy (Tom) Adkins of Silver Springs, Md.; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 11 a.m at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City. Rev. Randall Harris will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m at Mowell Funeral Home in Peachtree City, and then will process to the cemetery for the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lisbon Baptist Church, 1662 Ga. Hwy 85 South, Fayetteville, GA 30215.
