William (Bill) James Livsey Jr., 85, of Fayetteville Ga, passed away on 18 June 2016.

Bill was born in Clarkston, Ga. on 8 June 1931. He graduated from North Georgia College in June of 1952, and entered the U.S. Army shortly thereafter. He was a decorated veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam wars.  He retired from service after 35 years at the rank of General; after commanding at all levels from platoon to Commander in Chief of all U.S. forces in Korea.

Bill was married to Bena Sue Burns on 4 October  1952; they were married 61 years.  

He is survived by his three sons, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Mowell Funeral home at a time and date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Army Emergency Relief to benefit the soldiers who are currently serving our Nation.
