Peggy Jean Harrison, age 78, succumbed to cancer after a lengthy illness. She was born in Nashville, Tenn. and was a long term resident of Fayetteville.
She spent many years in real estate and worked as an independent broker, commercial property manager and appraiser. She was a certified interior decorator. She was a former Billy Graham full time Atlanta office staff volunteer and was a devoted Christian and member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City. She loved her extended family, pets, gardening and wildlife.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Helen Ragan, and children Laura, Hugh and David. She is survived by her husband, Hugh B. Harrison; daughters Kay (Andy) Sendelbach of Rabun Gap and Dana (Russell) Lewis of Fayetteville; seven grandchildren Aimee Wisyanski of Hampstead, N.C.; Jonathan Morris of Burlington, N.C.; Ambrose Harrison of Fayetteville; Jennifer Morris of Wilmington, N.C.; CPT George (Danielle) Sendelbach II of Ft. Stewart; Meghann Brooks of Sharpsburg; Joshua Lewis of Gainesville; seven great-grandchildren Cindy and Hugh Wisyanski; C.J., Mason and Tatum Brooks; Eli and Carter Sendelbach.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in College Park.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 12 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home in Peachtree City.
