Wayne C. Franz, of Peachtree City, Ga. passed away on May 31, 2016.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at St. Andrews In The Pines, Peachtree City, Ga. Visitation was held Friday, June 3, 2016 at St. Andrews In The Pines from 5 -7 p.m.
Wayne was born February 17, 1950 in Elizabeth, N.J. He worked for many years as an executive in the financial services industry. Wayne loved to golf, fish and was a devoted fan of the New York Giants and the Georgia Bulldogs. He was an extremely important member of St. Andrews in the Pines Espicopal Church in Peachtree City, Ga. Wayne proudly served as a combat medic in the U.S. Army during the VietNam War from 1969 to 1971. His personal awards included a Bronze Star with Valor Device distinction and Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster. He loved his friends, family and church.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Jacob; sister, Christine and brother, Bruce (Fritz).
He is survived by his wife, Bernadette; sons, Jason and Michael; daughter, Emily; mother, Anne Marie; brother, Craig; sister, Susan; and daughter-in-law, Kim.
