The Peachtree City Chapter of New Neighbors League Club named Lisa Castro as its New Neighbor of the Month at the May 2016 meeting.

She joined the organization in June of 2014 and has been involved in many of its groups, such as Adventures in Dining, Socials, Luncheons, Pokeno, Let’s Eat Healthy, and Matinee Madams. Lisa has been luncheon assistant and luncheon chair and is currently the outgoing president.

This New Neighbor hails from California with her husband of almost 16 years. They initially moved to Fayetteville but now live in Senoia. Lisa’s husband, Rick, does finance management in the movie industry. They share their home with Riley the cat and three loveable golden retrievers. They also have three sons in California and a daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons in the Macon area.

NNLC’s purpose is to bring newcomers to the area together so that they may meet and become friends while adjusting to new surroundings. It is a not-for-profit social organization that has a wide variety of activities.

If you live in the Fayette-Coweta county area and would like more information about joining NNLC, contact club director Carol Jensen-Linton at 770-486-9116 or visit www.newneighborsptc.com.
