Patricia Annette Carreker, wife of Tom Carreker of Fayette County, passed away May 7, 2016 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.  

Pat was preceded in death by her mother, Anne Marie Hearn Ward.

In addition to her husband, she leaves behind her father, Robert S. Ward; her daughters, Tammy Brown Vickery; Shane Carreker Moore and her husband William; Tina Carreker Wiley and her husband Kenny; son, Wade Carreker and his wife Tracy; six grandchildren, Courtney Campbell, Billy Barnes, Holly Barnes Cooper and her husband Chad, Anastasia Adams Triplett and her husband David Jr., Chris Hodge, Ashley Hodge; nine great-grandchildren, Camden Campbell, Ryan Cooper, Carson Cooper, Braeden Triplett, Henry Triplett, Halee Grace Hodge, Aubrey Hodge, Hayden Hodge and last but not least Maddyson Annemarie Campbell, born on May 8, 2016; sister, Pamela Thomure and her husband Richard; brother, Charles D. Ward; aunt, Patricia Hearn Potter; numerous nieces and nephews and also her BFF, Judy Bedingfield Crawford and her husband Kenneth.

 A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Harps Crossing Baptist Church, Fayetteville.  Rev. Ken Helms will officiate.
