The fourth annual Fayette Face to Face Event will take place in conjunction with Earth Day 2016 and is scheduled for Saturday, April 23, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Shakerag Knoll in Peachtree City.

All are welcome to come out to meet the people who make this county work within the various county departments, along with representatives from the Fayette Visioning Committee and the Fayette County Schools – Transportation Department.

“The library’s effort to continue to host the Fayette Face to Face for the citizens of Fayette County is essential to the library’s role as this community’s hub for information access. This annual event promotes greater awareness between the government and the residents, allows for an exchange of ideas and provides an opportunity for citizens to have direct access to Fayette’s leaders,” said library director Chris Snell.

Some of the departments that will be represented include Fayette Water, Stormwater, Fayette County Public Library, Permits and Inspections, Planning and Zoning, 9-1-1, Parks and Recreation, Environmental Health and the Peachtree City Fire Department will be on site with an Ambulance and Fire Engine. Citizens of Fayette County are encouraged to come out and “be in the know” of what’s happening in their government.
