Egg hunt winners announced

Between 475 and 500 children attended the Peachtree City Optimist Club/Peachtree City Fire Department’s annual Easter egg hunt March 26 at Shakerag Park. Those pictured here were the winners of 2016 dated bunnies after finding the designated winning eggs.

Attendees also enjoyed jumping in the Sparky the Fire Dog bounce house, climbing and sliding on the Dinosaur Slide, and seeing all of the Fire Department’s equipment.

Also pictured are the lucky winners of the free raffle bunnies. Each child received a free raffle ticket for the “Bunny Raffle” at the end of the event. From left are Autumn Craig, Elizabeth Boehm, Emily Fancera, Betty Jane Plat and Sophie Herlehy.
