An ongoing Eagle Scout project in the community involves making blankets for children in foster care. Local residents are welcome to donate 1-2 yards of fleece for the project – warm, soft, cuddly and whatever color or print kids would like.

Any women age 18 and over who would like to help cut/knot-tie the fleece blankets can meet Thursday, March 24, at 6 p.m. to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 101 South Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City. People from many different churches are expected to attend. Please bring fleece and come.

Anyone who is unable to attend that session but would like to donate fleece can contact [email protected] and arrangements can be made to pick up fleece donations.
