Diane Davis Pyron, 75, of Fayetteville, passed away March 3, 2016.

Diane was raised in Ashburn, Ga. She retired after 32 years teaching kindergarten, first grade, and gifted at Hood Avenue Elementary. She was an active member at Fayette Presbyterian Church, Kappa Kappa Iota Soriety, and a graduate of University of West Georgia.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents and brother.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years Ed Pyron; son Edwyn (Lori) Pyron, III, of Boynton Beach, Fla.; daughter Suzanne (Mark) Banks of Fayetteville; grandchildren Jordan, McKenzie, and Sawyer Banks; sister Kay (Pete) Peebles of Cordele, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 7, 2016, at 2 p.m., at Fayette Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Alex Moses and Rev. John Sherwood officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 6, 2016, from 4-6 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
