The Sandy Creek Patriots varsity basketball team finished a stellar 2015-2016 season with a 55-53 loss to Lithonia in the AAAA quarterfinals of the GHSA state tournament Thursday at Fort Valley State University.

The Patriots’ final season record stands at 21-8.
