A local Tyrone resident recently had the trip of a lifetime.
Casey Hall, music teacher at Love T. Nolan Elementary in Fulton County, entered a contest sponsored by Delta Airlines. The contest asked Instagram readers to submit a picture and a description of what music means to them.
With his request submitted, he forgot about the contest until he was notified via email that he and a guest would be flying to L.A. Feb. 12-16. They were guests of several pre-Grammy events before attending the 58th Grammys held at the Staples Center.
