The threat of severe storms, high winds and heavy rain Tuesday night and Wednesday morning has resulted in a delay in the usual Wednesday delivery of the print edition of The Citizen, publisher Cal Beverly said Wednesday morning.
“The paper will be delivered Wednesday night and Thursday morning,” Beverly said. “I apologize for the delay. I made the call based on the multiple, continuing forecasts of the severe nature of the weather system moving through the area. The safety of our delivery drivers was our main concern, especially with the forecast of high winds. I appreciate your readership and your patience.”
