Greer wins state, Lee gets 2nd

Collin Greer of Landmark won the GHSA state wrestling championship in Class A’s 138-pound class last weekend in Gwinnett County.

Sandy Creek’s Jake Lee came in second in AAAA competition at 113 pounds.

Other AAAA local wrestlers placing at state included Jacob Taylor of Fayette County (fifth, 106) and James Teague of Whitewater (fourth, 195).

In AAAAA, Logan Chastain of Northgate came in third at 145 and Ian Darling of Starr’s Mill finished third at 160.

Dustin Nelson of East Coweta came in fifth at 113 in AAAAAA.
