Deputies charge 2 Jonesboro men with N. Fayette burglaries

Two Jonesboro residents have been arrested on charges stemming from two burglaries and an attempted burglary in north Fayette County in mid-January.

Joseph Montel Jones, 20, and Hoep N. Lebo, 22, were charged with two counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary and criminal attempt to commit burglary, according to Sheriff Barry Babb.

Babb said the two were involved in the mid-January burglaries of residences on Eli Run and New Hope Road and an attempted burglary on Mark Lane.

Babb said the investigation is continuing.
