Norman Wayne Naler, age 68, of Brooks, Ga. passed away on January 22, 2016.
Norman was born in Florence, Ala. to Robert Naler and Agatha Schaffer-Naler and grew up in the Atlanta area. For many years until retirement he worked as a maintenance engineer. Norman enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and football. He was an avid fan of both the Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Tech. He will always be remembered for his storytelling, his jokes, and his laughter. Norman will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his grandchildren and children who knew him best as Pop Pop.
He is survived by his wife Helen McCall Naler of Brooks, Ga. and their three children Amy Naler Hammock, Tiffany Naler Kostuch, and Ashley Naler, and their six grandchildren William, Hayden, Henry, Sarah, Andrew, and Nicholas.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City.
