Jimmy Layton Phillips, 83, of Fayetteville, passed away January 13, 2016.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Betty, sons Ken (Laurie) Phillips and Dan (Sheryl) Phillips, 8 grandchildren, brother Wayne (Bettye) Phillips, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 18, 2016, 11 a.m., at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Dr. Richard Leach and Pastor Hugh Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 17, 2016, from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
