Fayette County’s local chapter of Kappa Kappa Iota, the nation’s oldest professional organization for educators, presented a collection of teddy bears and other stuffed animals to Bloom. The collection of bears is an annual community service project of Kappa Kappa Iota nationwide. Members give support and assistance whenever needed to organizations that provide service to children who are victims of abuse, neglect or violence.

Becky Davenport, executive director of Bloom, accepted the collection from Paulette Bass, who made a donation to the local chapter.
