There were two burglaries and two incidents of entering auto reported around Fayette County during the week of Nov. 10-16.
A burglary was reported on Nov. 10 at a residence on Clark Road in south Fayette County.
The owner reported a burglary of her vacant home having occurred between Nov. 6-10. While there were no signs of forced entry, deputies reported that the back door was unlocked and a stove, dishwasher and microwave oven had been stolen, according to reports.
The owner said the house is for sale and is currently being shown by different realtors, reports said.
A Peachtree City officer on Nov. 11 responded to a burglary report on Linden Lane.
The homeowner told the officer her residence had been entered on several different occasions. She said someone entered her home on Oct. 8 and stole all of her nicer underwear along with underwear, socks and a college T-shirt belonging to her brother. Several windows were left open, though they were not entry or exist points, reports said.
There were two entering auto incidents reported in Peachtree City during the past week.
The first entering auto incident was reported in Peachtree City on Nov. 12 at the Visitor Center on McIntosh Trail. The owner said she was at the dog park the previous day and left the windows cracked. A purse and contents was stolen and no signs of forced entry were found, reports said.
Another entering auto occurred on Nov. 12 at the Flat Creek Golf Club on Flat Creek Road.
The owner said she arrived at 9 a.m. and, upon leaving at 2:30 p.m., she found a broken rear window. A purse was left in plain view inside the vehicle, though the only item stolen was a laptop computer which was on the back seat, according to police reports.
