The Fayette Starr’s Mill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution made dozens of cookies Oct. 11 for the National Day of Service marking the 125th anniversary of the founding of the organization.

The homemade cookies were distributed by Susan Pericht to Peachtree City and Tyrone police and firefighters in appreciation for their service to our community.

Pictured is Susan Pericht as she assembled the packages that were taken to the first-responders. She was assisted by Becky West and Sylvia Nolde in packaging and distributing distribute the cookies.
