The 2015 Fall Taste of Newnan, an annual event hosted by Main Street Newnan, will take place Thursday, Oct. 1, 5-8:30 p.m. in downtown Newnan.

The event will feature an assortment of local restaurants and caterers spread across North and South Court Square offering a “taste” of their wares.

In addition, this year’s event will feature a Kids Zone along West Washington Avenue, equipped with rides, games, the Birds of Prey, and other attractions. More than 40 participants are registered.

Live entertainment will be provided by Main Street Newnan, featuring The Wyatt Band. The live entertainment will be located along West Broad Street. In addition, tables and chairs will be set up adjacent to the live music stage for those attendees looking to relax and enjoy the event.

Tickets will be sold for $1 each at the event or you can beat the crowds and purchase your tickets in advance beginning Thursday, Sept. 24, at the following downtown locations:

*   Let Them Eat Toffee (North Court Square)
*   C.S. Toggery (East Court Square)
*   Design House Home and Garden Inc. (Greenville Street)
*   Corner Arts Gallery & Studio (South Court Square)
*   Ace Beer Growlers (West Court Square)
*   Gillyweed (Jefferson St.)

This season’s event will feature ice cream, BBQ, Italian ice, pizza, ribs, baked goods, pasta, seafood, Chinese and Thai selections, candied apples, funnel cakes, fried Oreos, kettle corn and so much more.

Free public parking is available along downtown streets, and in the City of Newnan’s Public Parking Lots located at: 13 LaGrange Street, 25 LaGrange Street, 22 Spring Street, 6 First Avenue, 50 East Broad Street, 65 East Broad Street, 41 East Washington Street, and 22 East Broad Street.

The event is open to the public and there is no admission charge.
