North Fayette United Methodist Church will offer a 12-week Bible study on the Old Testament, The Epic of Eden, based on a book by Dr. Sandra L. Richter and produced by Asbury Seedbed. The study starts today, Sept. 9 beginning at 10:30 a.m.

If there is sufficient interest, a parallel study will be held during the evening.

“Often the Old Testament seems like a disorganized collection of stories that are only slightly related,” a spokesperson said. “The Epic of Eden shows how there is one story — the story of Yahweh and his prodigal son Adam. The story begins in the Garden of Eden and does not finish until we reach New Jerusalem.”

Those who are able are asked to contribute the $25 cost of participant manual.

NFUMC is at 847 New Hope Rd., Fayetteville. For  more information call the church office, 770-461-2409, or visit  www.nfumc.com.
