Olivet’s 24th anniversary celebration starts tonight

The Olivet church in Fayetteville will begin its 24th Church Anniversary with five Wednesday night worship services beginning tonight,  Sept. 2. The anniversary celebration will be Sunday, Sept. 27. The theme this year is “Building God’s Church: One Mission, One Ministry, One Mission at a Time.”

Weekly Wednesday night services are at 7 p.m.

Speakers each week will be:  

Pastor Jerry Black from Beulah Missionary Baptist Church in Decatur on Sept. 2;

Dr. Maurice Watson from Historical Metropolitan Baptist Church in Largo, Md. on Sept. 9;

Dr. Kerwin Lee from Berean Christian Church in Stone Mountain on Sept 16;

Dr. Frederick Haynes III from Friendship-West Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas on Sept. 23; and

Dr. Carlos Kelly from Beulahland Bible Church in Macon on Sept. 30.

The 24th anniversry services will be Sunday, Sept. 27, at 8 and 11 a.m. and will be led by Bishop Keith Reed Sr. from Sharon Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pa. Olivet services are open to the public.

The church is located in North Fayetteville at 877 Ga. Highway 314 North. The servant/pastor/teacher is the Rev. Dr. William Holmes Robinson.
