The Fayette County Public Art Committee is issuing a call for Fayette County photographers to participate in a unique photo mural project at the Fayette County Administration Building.
The project is entitled “County Government Works” and will be a photographic representation of county efforts from all departments at work. Photographers will be assigned a department of the county government and asked to photograph employees at work.
The photographers will have creative license to alter and edit photos for presentation. The Fayette County Public Art Committee will be in charge of the selection process to determine what photos are on the mural.
This is a civic art project and there is no compensation for those who participate. The project is open to both professional and amateur photographers. All photographers whose work is included on the mural will receive photo credits on the mural. All photographs submitted for this project become the property of the Fayette County government.
The mural will be on the publicly exposed wall of the Human Resources Department in Suite 212 at the Fayette County Administrative Complex.
This is a great opportunity to display your photographic and editing skills.
If you would like to be a part of this project send your contact information to fcpac@fayettecountyga.gov. If you have any questions, email or call 770-305-5103. Submit your request for participation by Sept. 15.
