The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department wanted to make sure students and teachers at Spring Hill Elementary had the supplies they needed to get the school year off to a great start.

The department dropped off 50 backpacks stocked with school supplies, and boxes of tissues for the teachers, the day before the start of school. The sheriff’s department also donated funds to help the school purchase agendas for students who need them.

“The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department is unbelievable. They just donated 50 fully loaded backpacks for our kiddos. They also brought tissues for the teachers, which we needed today,” said Lisa Martin, Spring Hill Elementary gifted teacher.
