Sarah Helen Spradlin, age 89, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015 in Warm Springs Ga. She was born May 28, 1926 in Fayette County, Ga. to the late Nonie Huckaby and Alma Mask Huckaby.
Along with her parents Helen is preceded in death by her husband Bill C. Spradlin and brother Hermand Huckaby and his wife Dorothy Huckaby. She is survived by children; Joyce Hall and her husband Larry, Wade Spradlin and his wife Karen, Ray Spradlin and his wife Judy, Rick Spradlin and his wife Karen, grandchildren; Dixie Johnson and her husband Derek, Rebecca Johnston and her husband Robert, Kerri Spradlin, Josh Parker, Alia Spradlin and Kayla Spradlin. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Walker, Robert, Winn, Cade and nieces Nancy Ward and Peggy Murphy.
The funeral service is Wednesday, July 29th at 4 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Brooks Memorial Gardens in Brooks Ga. The visitation is Wednesday from 3 p.m. until service time.
