Dale L. Hooper, age 77

Dale L. Hooper (December 1, 1937 – June 28, 2015) passed in Tarpon Springs, Fla.

Mr. Hooper had been staying with his surviving brother, Jim (Nancy) Hooper of Peachtree City and was also a recent resident of Arbor Terrace Living Center. Beloved nieces are Julia Hooper (Scott) Stone of Sharpsburg, Ga., Sarah Hooper (Kevin) Williams of Gig Harbor Wash., and Jamie Hooper (Alfred) Fernandez of Atlanta Ga.; great-nieces Chloe Williams and Dakota Stone, and great-nephews R. Saul Stone and Elijah Hooper Williams.

Mr. Hooper’s greatest passions were teaching and traveling. He completed fifty total years in teaching at retirement in 2012. His extensive world travel was accomplished with thirty years (ten assignments) around the world with Dept. of Defense Dependent Schools.

Memorials can be made to the Kidney Foundation or charity of choice. Interment will be at Rice Cemetery, Elkhart, Ind.
