The Georgia Department of Labor is now recruiting workers to help Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. staff its manufacturing plant under construction in Lithia Springs.

The facility will support the production of pods for the company’s new Keurig KOLD platform, an in-home cold beverage system that will be launched in fall of 2015. Production at the facility will be timed to support the product roll-out and associated demand for cold beverage pods. Keurig is well known for its Keurig Hot Brewing System, which includes more than 75 brands and 500+ varieties of beverages.

The first round of recruitments will be conducted online, with a customized recruiting event to follow next month. The online recruiting, now underway, is for quality control technicians and maintenance coordinators and technicians for its facility and assembly lines.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. The maintenance coordinators and quality and support technicians must have at least 12 years of education and two years of experience, while the maintenance facilities and line technicians must have at least 14 years of education and five years of experience.

Applicants may request a referral to a job by visiting any GDOL career center, or www.gdol.ga.gov and clicking On-line Services, then Job Search. Always include the job order number in the search.
