Here is a sampling of what is on the Piedmont Fayette Hospital calendar for June.

The hospital’s Auxiliary will host the next Red Cross Blood Drive Tuesday, June 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be held in the 1279 Building, third floor, Conference Room C. Living Better with Parkinson’s provides support for individuals, family members and caregivers affected by Parkinson’s disease. Whether you have lived with Parkinson’s for years, were recently diagnosed or know a loved one affected by the disease, you will learn valuable information regarding diagnosis, treatment, medication, exercise, diet, new research and daily life. Piedmont Fayette Hospital extends a cordial invitation to the next program which will be held Tuesday, June 16, 1 to 3 p.m., Bridge Community Center, 225 Willow Bend Road, Peachtree City. A breast cancer support group will meet Tuesday, June 16, 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Thomas F. Chapman Family Cancer Wellness at Piedmont Fayette Hospital, 1267 Building (West Entrance), Third Floor, 1267 Highway 54 West, Fayetteville. The group is open to women of all ages who are currently fighting or have survived breast cancer. Baby Dayz is a free monthly informational group led by Piedmont Fayette Hospital Lactation Consultant Jan Mannion, RN, that offers support to mothers of infants up to one year old. The class meets the second Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon at the Fayette County Library Community Room, 1821 Heritage Parkway, Fayetteville. The Prostate Cancer Information Group will meet Tuesday, June 23, at 7 p.m. at Thomas F. Piedmont Fayette Hospital invites all members of the community to come “walk and talk” with Piedmont doctors Saturday, June 27, 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Patriot Park, 1100-1102 Redwine Road, Fayetteville.
