Weekend yard sale planned
St. Gabriel Catholic Church and the St. Vincent de Paul Society will host a yard sale Friday, May 15 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday, May 16 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. The church is at 152 Antioch Road, Fayetteville.

New schedule at COS
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City announces a summer schedule change. The contemporary praise service moves to 9:45 a.m. in the fellowship hall as of May 17. Melissa Jacobson will preach at all services May 16-17. She is the church’s director of youth and family ministry. Worship will take the form of Service of the Word. The church is on the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway.

Summit plans Family Matters dinner Sunday
The Summit Church in Fayetteville will host a Family Matters dinner Sunday, May 17, at 6 p.m. Guest speaker will be Dr. Beth Johnson, J. Holly Grove AME Church will host its 118th Church Anniversary on Sunday, May 24, at 10:30 am. Holly Grove AME Church is located at 400 Holly Grove Church Rd., Peachtree City.

Beatles tunes featured at COS
To celebrate Pentecost on May 23-24, Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will use a special liturgy written by Pastor Fritz Wiese using tunes of The Beatles. All four services will take place in the fellowship hall. The service schedule is: Saturday at 6 p.m., and Sunday morning at 8:30, 9:45, and 11 a.m. The public is invited, especially Beatles fans.

Woolsey hosts Fifth Sunday Singing
Woolsey Baptist Church will have a Fifth Sunday night song service, May 31 at 6 p.m. “Through the Storm” will be led by the church choir, other singers and musicians. Flat Rock AME plans summer camp

Registration is now open for Christ’s Church at Whitewater’s VBS  planned for June 1 thru June 5, from 9 a.m. until noon.
