Three local teams reached the A-AAAAA quarterfinals of the GHSA state lacrosse playoffs, but the road to the championship unfortunately ended there for all three.
The McIntosh boys lost 16-10 to Allatoona and the Starr’s Mill boys fell 10-4 to Cambridge. Both of those games took place Friday.
The McIntosh were defeated 21-6 to Blessed Trinity in their game Saturday. The Lady Chiefs finished the season as area champions for the sixth straight year.
